This is Panama: a bridge between two oceans, a natural paradise, and a cultural connection point. Its biodiversity demonstrates how environmental conservation saves lives.
The protection of mangroves is key, as they store carbon, slow climate change, and protect coastal communities. Additionally, they serve as essential marine nurseries for food security. Panama fights illegal fishing to preserve its ecosystem.
Its tropical forests ensure water and electricity for thousands of families. Thanks to its environmental commitment, it is one of the four countries in the world with the prestigious status of being Carbon Negative.
